Radiohead announce Tour Info

Radiohead have revealed tentative plans for planned touring in 2012. In an interview with BBC 6MusicEd O’Brien said the band is finalizing plans to tour the UK and US between February and November next year.

O’Brien emphasized that the band will play songs that will fit in with the songs off their latest effort The King of Limbs’ and not a greatest hits show. When asked about playing summer festivals O’Brien said that it “just doesn’t feel right this time,” and that the band will play indoor arenas where “the music is loud, strong, and detailed.”

The band members have been very busy as of late. Thom Yorke’s side-project band with Flea of Red Hot Chili PeppersAtoms for Peace’, are expected to release their debut album in 2012 at some period. After his score for the 2007 film ‘There Will be Blood’, Jonny Greenwood has written the music for the upcoming film ‘We Need To talk About Kevin’.
