The boys are prolific right now. ‘Electricity’ is the latest in a string of superb Arctic Monkeyssingles, following on from‘R U Mine?’It is brilliant to see the continued evolution of the band and this is a fusion of the sounds from the band from all four albums. I might be in a minority, but I actually prefer the Arctics B-Sides even more then their records. This could have comfortably fitted on any of their albums. Waiting for the B-Side album to come. Eventually. It will happen. One day. I’m telling you.
Arctic Monkeysposted a new track online last night. ‘R U Mine?’ is not off their last album ‘Suck It & See’, and was released without any promotion. It is everything you would expect from them and Alex Turneris still pulling off his 60’s quiff in the video.
A little while back I featured Wet Nunsas Ones To Watch. Well their new single ‘Throttle’ now has a video, which I can confirm is VERY disturbing! If you’re not put off by it, the track itself is great. Watch below along with their tour dates:

UK Blues-Punk band Wet Nunshave had some pretty good supporters and admires recently. They were named as one of NME’s top 20 “Bands To Look Out For in 2012” and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders is a big fan. We brought you his remix of then Nun’s single ‘Heaven Below’ back in November. We now have their new single ‘Throttle’ for you to listen to below. Their music is hard hitting, heavy but also with a bluesy feel. They are playing the Academy 2 in Dublin on the 4th of April, with tickets available from €13 on Ticketmaster. Check out their official website, Soundcloud, Myspaceand Facebook. Definitely a band worth checking out.
